Welcome to Operation: Adoption, a website devoted to our adoption cause. We are Ryan, Lora and Jonah Jacobson (and our dog Naboo). After more than six years of marriage and more than a year into our adoption journey, we were blessed with Jonah Sanford on June 4, 2006. Now we have begun the process of adopting a second child.

We have kicked off our fundraising efforts with a holiday wreath sale, and Ryan has self-published his third Santa Claus: Super Spy book.

We will keep you posted as we renew this exciting journey to grow our family.

Fundraisers

Adopting a newborn baby is an expensive endeavor. (But, of course, the happiness that we’ve gained from our child is priceless!) All together, we need to raise about $10,000 to make our dream of adopting another child a reality—and we hope you can help.

Regular fundraising events are big boosts to our adoption funds. From garage sales and wreath sales to self-publishing books, we’re keeping very busy. We’d love for you to be a part of our fundraising efforts. To learn about current and upcoming fundraisers, click here.
