We’ve done it! We’ve completed the final step in our pre-adoption process! Our adoption profile is complete and in the mail. That means we’ve now done everything that we can do, so far.
The next step for us (aside from our upcoming fundraisers) is to wait. Our adoption profile gets put into a book, along with other hopeful couples’ profiles. Expecting parent(s) look through the profile book and choose which couples they’d like to consider.
We should be in the book within a week or so. That means, we could have a baby in two weeks! Of course, that’s unlikely. The average wait time is about a year.
Anyway, we’re excited to have made it this far so quickly. We couldn’t have done it without your help! Thank you so much!
